Disassembly of Aero mirrors
Gents,
I'm having the factory mirrors re-painted and they have been removed from the car.
Any advice on how to dismantle them - separating the upper/lower pieces would be appreciated.
I'm looking at documenting and (using a proper tool) removing each pin from the connectors but I'm not sure what to do next.
There appears to be a large Allen key type fastener that I'll have access to once he wires are out of the way.

hallo
You need to hold down the Mirror(upper part)
then you turn the Allenbolt (14mm) in either direction . Thats it. It takes some Power
because you have to overcome the load of the Spring .If you put it back together put the Inner black part out where the little servomotors sit in,
