How do Porsche perform their 0-100 km/h (0-62mph)?
I assume they perform their official 0-100km/h in the same way every time and was wondering how they do it, full tank, two people in the car etc...
Does anyone here know?
Yes, I did do my searches of the archives...

Thanks for pointing me there but I guess I wasn't clear enough, what I'm looking for is more the conditions under the 0-100km/h tests is performed.
Is the gas tank full, are there two people on-board or do they do the runs with minimum weight of the car?
The reason I'm asking is because I think generally the figures Porsche give us aren't that hard to beat as opposed to Ferrari figures which historically has been inflated...

I would guess a very light tank and tons of revs... on a g-tech pro the closest i got to spec times on my 993 C2 was 7000rpm, dump the clutch, lots of rubber and burning clutch and half tank... i put it down to crappy driving/gear changing, an inaccurate G-Tech and too warm weather ;P

I read somewhere Porsche got their numbers with a full tank of gas. Not exactly what you are looking for, but you may be able to find the post i read this in somewhere in the archives here.

I would think that 911's are notoriously fast 0-100km cars due to the fact that they have so much of their weight over the traction tires. Thus tire spinning is minimized... albeit at the expense of clutch.
