You should always have an extra DME relay. I bought a new transmission ground strap. With age they begin to lose some conductivity so it is something that should be replaced every 10 years or so. I got a replacement crest for my key, they always seem to fall off and get lost, not essential, but this is a good excuse to replace it. I also ordered spare fan resistors for the heater, A/C and oil cooler fans. They seem to go and it would be nice to have spares. I also ordered a new spoiler wall, the black duct tape is working for now, but again, this is an good excuse to get a new one.

For some reason, I received two of them in the mail!! Already used one for parts. The second one will go for something non-essential like clothing or maybe the golf bag, I haven't decided yet, but remember it's only good until the 30th of this month.

The Porsche tower brace, IMO is inferior, not nearly as nice as the AJUSA brace- which costs the same, without use of the coupon. They have a sale on now for PCA members. I used my coupon to buy the SS sill protectors, but was tempted to buy the fuel filler neck- but I really didin't have a problem.

I also used the previous certificate for new belts. I usually don't mind using OEM parts, but I do like to see Porsche on the belts when I look at the engine. If you haven't replaced your belts in the last 4 years, it may be time.

I picked up (another) spoiler curtain. My last one split after only about 8 months. That ate up about $100, so I blew the rest on some Porsche logo merchandise - a new hat, and his & her shirts, and a few other trinkets. Now we'll be heading to the PCA Parade next week in style!

- L shaped wrench needed to hold the pulleys for fan and alternator belts (P/N 999-571-052-02)
- the towing hook that came with the original 964 tool kit
- The 21mm rear sway bar that was standard on the MY90 Carrera 2 (964.333.701.07)
- 2 rear bushings for the sway bar (477 411 313D x 2)
- New clock (the 993 part I'm sick of trying to fix the warning light issue on the eBay cheap).
All from Sunset Porsche.

Thanks guys...all very good suggestions, and Terry...I like the idea of using the "other" $100 you had to spend on shirts, etc. for Parade!
You guys gave me a great idea as I had been wondering what else I would get as I'm not up to $200 on my list just yet...I am doing the Club Race in Iowa next month and totally forgot I might want spare belts, a DME relay and anything else "little" that might screw me out of a race!
