Question Torque Settings?

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me the torque setting for the six in-hex bolts that attach the rear half shafts to the diff/gearbox on a 1990 C4 Coupe?

Many thanks in advance,
Pete.

We're not ignoring you. It's just that my little tech book doesn't exactly answer the question. It looks like if they are attached with M8 threads the rating is 42Nm and if its a M10 its a 80 Nm. Not quite sure how that helps you. but the descrition in the book is "Drive shaft to rear axle final drive" HOLD ON! just found something under "engine/trans spec" reads "Drive shaft to transmission flange" 42Nm. so there ya go.
