Default Install a CAT in Asian non CAT 1990 C4

Hi all,
Need some advise on behalf of a friend that wants to buy a low klms car in Hong Kong which is quite rare these as most have left foe UK, New Zealand and Australia. The cars is Right hand Drive from one of the marlets we think Malaysia os Singapore with the option code spec Saying No Cat. It has been serviced for most of its life although nothing constant although all the C4 problems had been addressed

Question- Has anyone fitted a Cat and how much time and trouble is that ? Change of DME & o2 sensor etc. Would it be easier to buy a complete exhaust system with cat and DME chip change maybe ?

He would need to fit one if the car stays in HK as the emssion laws are getting strict for older vehicles to pas MOT or if finally exported to Australia eventually.

Its a nice car, I think its woth spending the money to fit the CAT if its worth it.
Any tip much appreciated, Cheers, Mark

Hi,
All you need is a cat , O2-Lamda probe and a coding plug for the DME.Lamda probe socket is in the engine bay loom , coding plug socket is in DME loom near the DME main plug under the LH seat.
