This is not really my lucky week...
The rear part of the plastic finishing running under the door (The part next to the wheelarch) has become loose and it's hanging from bodywork. It seems that toy-like plastic joints have fallen off (What an economic design!!). What can I do? Is it an expensive work? A 964 with a part hanging like that has a really sad look...

If the actual moulding on the trim panel has broken then re-glue the mounting stud (the white piece with the metal stud) to the panel with a hot-melt glue gun. I've found that epoxy glue tends to crack and loosen. Use new plastic trim nuts to re-mount the panel. If you are not near a Porsche dealer then BMW use exactly the same nut.

GMS - Thanks for the top on the hot glue gun. I just learned about the epoxy problem myself - the hard way. Several weeks ago, my "fin" shaped rocker panel on the passenger side covering the oil thermostat came off. The plastic mounting tabs on the rocker panel snapped off. I sanded the area flat, mixed up some two part epoxy and glued the plastic retaining nut and bolt to the rocker panel. I felt pretty smug with my repair and happily drove off. Fast forward to last weekend... I was washing the car and noticed that the epoxy joint had failed and my fin was starting to sag. I'm going to take your advice and break out the hot glue gun this weekend!
Thanks!
Thanks!
