Hello Everyone,
I am introducing myself as a new member to this forum. My name is Polyvios Gregoriades (Polys for short) and I am Greek, living in Germany. I recently bought a C2 '92 with 75k km on the clock.
A few days ago the starter motor has been misbehaving. Anyone has experience in removing - overhauling the starter? How easy is to get to from underneath the car?

Polys
Starter Motors are not particularly strong on 964's however are you sure it is the starter motor?
Before you clamber underneath, bang your head on an oily engine and rip all the skin off your knuckles make sure the battery is holding enough charge.
This is a common problem, the battery has enough charge to operate most of the electrical equipment but does not have enough charge to turn over the starter motor properly, if at all.
So check the battery first.
