Anyone just have the glass mirror just fall out of their side (passenger) mirror? Happened today, luckily it still was held on by a wire.
Anyone with tips on repair?
Thanks in advance?

Actually, place it back in it's holder/pedestal...then reach in the access hole underneath the housing with a medium-sized flat tip screwdriver and move the dial over (3/4 "slots" in it) to secure the piece of glass.
Sounds like it was halfway on there after painting to match your color and it vibrated the rest of the way off??

Andy, you are right, but I pressed it back on and it looked fine and then fell out again on a particularly rough piece of road. When it falls out again, I'll take your advice Jeff and see if I can't secure it.
Thanks,
Jon

Jon,for clarification...you will find the imprint/pattern of a circle on the rear of your glass with two "guidepins" that go through to ensure you have the glass properly positioned.
Once you have everything oriented correctly, there is a dial that is connected to the mirror "guts" where the glass mounts, you will have to turn this dial, only about 5deg. or so (not much) to lock in your glass.
