Lock Cylinder and Auto Door Locks
I took door panel off, found parts, and put it all back together. But auto door locks for that door do not work when key is turned.
There is a switch attached to inner cyllinder that controls this. I have a feeling another part may have fell out when cylinder was removed.
Does anyone know how this works and what parts I would need to fix this?
Problem is definately at lock cylinder.

I have same parts book. The lock cylinder which is part of door handle assembly is much more detailed than parts list shows. The electronic door switch is part of the assembly.
What parts book shows is that part #1 probably is sold as one unit.
I could only imagine how much it costs.
I was hoping someone had same probllem and maybe resolved it without buying an entire door handle assembly.
I am curious how door lock is triggered by key turn. From what I saw, I think there is a plastic sleeve in lock cylinder that turns with lock cylinder and triggers an electronic micro switch that activates locks. I think I broke/lost a bearing that sits between the plastic sleeve and micro switch.
