Front Spoiler Protector

Front Spoiler Protector
It seems to me I saw something like this somewhere on the web. Can someone direct me to a source for a bolt on to protect my front spoiler? I'm thinking of going with the MA Shaw splitter and don't want it to get hammered like my stock front currently is.
Thanks,

I think <a href="http://www.carnewal.com" target="_blank">Carnewal</a> do one.
They mainly do stuff for 993s onwards, but this might fit -

Tony,
I installed the RUF front valance extension, partially because it's made from polyurethane, and won't shatter like fiberglass can. May not be quite as aerodynamically effective as the Shaw piece, however, I reasoned if it works on the RUF machines, it should provide the offset I want for the rear tail (By keeping more air from under the front, the difference in air pressure in front of the car and under the front end enhances front end stability).
You're thinking of adding a fiberglass part that extends down and out a bit. While the bar Gert offers may fit with some creative engineering, I've found I have to exercise more control and not smack into curbs when parking. Also, having a lowered 911 plus a valance extension, adds additional driver considerations on the street with our New England craggy and steep roads and driveways.
Note the factory didn't do anything radical to the front end for the 964-series for competition purposes. On the 3.8 RSR's and Le Mans racers, they only added splitters at the outer sections of the front bumpers, with a wing, not spoiler, on the back. Techart/Porsche Tequipment offer that same style of splitter, although not as pronounced as the original factory parts.
You may be thinking of a part that Performance offers for pre-89's that bolts onto the forward torsion bar mounting point.
