Corporate lawyer (venture capital, private equity, M&A, securities) (i.e., pretty much every segment of the law that's sucking wind right now).

Hey Rich,

Would that make you a shipyard bubba ? Which shipyard are you at? Ex-squid?

In a previous, 'orrible life, I lived aboard a fast-attack submarine. SSN 637.

Question

In my reading ofm the replies, I noticed thank almost NO Porsche Mechanics or Porsche Dealer employees are driving a 964.

The 'software' guys and Lawyers are the most owners [big bucks, mmmm....] Nice to see that so many people are so free to say there profession, this is nice.

I notice also the last couple of weeks that more and more new people join the forum.
This is good, the more people, the more experience.

Have a nice weekend you all in there out in the world.

Randall,

I'm at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth VA. I was in the Navy for 11 years, served on the 730, 671 and 765 before going into the reserves and eventually settling into the shipyard.

Nice being on the side of the fence (shipyard) that gets to go home after one shift, huh?

I spent two years overhauling (non-refuel) our boat in Charleston Naval Shipyard, giving me a pretty good flavor (bad taste) for a nuk's life in the yards .... The poor guys on the submarine don't get paid nearly enough.

Financial Advisor, but after reading all the posts, I need to get into the IT business. But honestly, I agree with another post, I would like to be Mr. Mom to my 2 year old son and have my wife be the "bread winner". If you have any money in the market, I think you can see why!!??
