Cool

Hi Guys, Electronics engineer myself, currently company owner doing signs. Fun job and pays the bills, couldn't ask for more! Did some work at our local track when F1 was around, managed to sneak in and shake Schumachers (the one and only!) hand. If he had been driving Porsches would never have washed it <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

'89 C4
'90 Nissan 300ZX TT
'90 535I
'99 Mitsubishi Mirage Coupe
'93 Honda CRX

Last two are track cars. Local regs don't allow me to race the others, sigh... Porsche is the only one thats stock at the moment!

cheers,
Kris

Hi you all,

First thanks for all the replies on this topic,
today I can tell you that I get a second job next year Februari.

Then is the time to take care of your new 'wonder of nature'.
The probably most heavy job on earth, be a DAD.

This morning my wife and I went to the dokter to make a echoscope, wich told us that we get our first child next year in Februari.

Any suggestions for a baby seat in the 964, and how the install??

Have Fun You all,

Arjan

Wink

Arjan

This is fantastic - I am a February baby too. Hopefully he/she won't end up with a black pinstripe interior in future cars.

Congratulations!

Forgot to mention...
Jay H, much like yourself, semi-pro (wish I was better) musician (altho some might argue that us drummers aren't!) playing drums, doing sound and singing. Drums are a struggle to get into the car. 964 is awful for music unless you count the 6 cyl symphony behind you. Spent 6 years in South African Navy as a pro musician, but only by the fact that I was paid, not that I was (am) talented.

Talking

Dear Arjan,
I have not looked for a new job. I have not had any offers of substance either. If you ask this question in 12 months times I would hope to write,
poor (in book sales income) but happy book writer,
Ciao,
Adrian

Lightbulb

I'm 24 and I'm graduating as a Mechanical Engineer next tuesday (University of Pisa)!! Any job offers?

...everything started at the age of 4 watching "The Dukes of Hazzard"...

Well, I'm also a road marshal in national rallies and vice-president of local LEO club (Junior branch of the International Association of Lions Clubs)

None of these activities raises money (sigh): 964 is my father's (50 yrs self-present)

Good idea this statistic post. Hope there will be some more, I think they reinforce our "community" attitude

Emmanulle

do you get much flack, being a Porsche owner in Ferrari-ville??

I'll be in your neck of the woods next week - fly to Bologna on Sunday. I'll do Florence, Pisa & Venice.

Any tips for visiting the leaning tower????

Thumbs up

O.K. Adrian,

See that your book gets ready, let it translate in different languages, and you will see that the big bucks will come in the Streather house.

I will buy one if you are ready, let us know.

Have fun,

Arjan

HEY Randall G!

SONGS, eh? Toured the plant when I was in college as part of the student ANS trip. Lots of fun, nice location.

I actually work on nuclear submarines for the Navy. I've gone from driving and fighting them to overhauling them. Go figure...
