I always wanted to be a hydrogeologist after growing up in the desert of West Texas.... clean water... one of our most precisous resources is quickly disappearing

29th year in the foundry business. We melt down aluminum or magnesium and make sand cast parts. Low volume highly specialized intricate applications. I have been told on numerous occasions by my customers we make the best magnesium parts in the industry.

Should have an episode of dirty jobs come in and film, most people couldn't handle a week in this place. LOL I just call it work.

paying job: Engineering Manager for heavy equipment mfg
Volunteer work: full time mechanic for the family fleet.

964 owner maybe next summer after some of the fleet is sold.
