Custom home builder for 24 years. About to become full time mechanic (only my cars). Enjoyed this topic. Roy '91 C2 Cab, 2000 BMW 330, '68 E-type roadster, 2000 GMC truck.

Wow ,this IS the longest thread ever! Ardjan maybe its time to invite the watercooled folks too!

Oh...I'm a Hotel Manager for a major cruiseline.
It seems I'm the only one here in my line of work! At least I know where to turn to for financial or legal advise

Small town Lawyer for last 10 years
before that 5 years at University
before that 5 years as a mechanic on an oil rig
before that 5 years as a technical writer with PACCAR (Kenworth Trucks)
before that 5 years as a trainer (of mechanics) with Toyota cars
before that 5 years as an apprentice mechanic at Alfa/Fiat specialist

What next!

Not really - happy where I am - finally.

Until v.recently VP Communications Manager for large bank. Lots of internal marketing, project managment and graphic design type stuff!

Prior to that I held numerous posts in the brokerage arm of the same organization, equity trader, sales manager, compliance officer etc.

Currently really enjoying long lunches, long drives and Rennlist....but gotta get serious again v.soon! LOL!

Looks like I can add something different to this mix ....
Geriatric Consultant.

And yes a am kinda old myself.
In former work life I was in IT - both Hardware (when it was really made from "Hardware") and software for Hospitals. Then a Business owner/ partner in staffing, and now a new biz with wife in geriatric care management. Had Porsche's in each of these careers.
