Fast Topless drivers
Hi Boys and Girls
I have noticed quite a few post regarding windstops in the past and how some like them and some dont. Anyway did a long european trip recently and did not relish the thought of having my already receeding hair getting any worse, the wife does not like to much of a draft either.
I decided to make a shield using black voil, which is see through, like netting. It fitted onto the back of the front seats and was attached to the latches on the headrests to hold it in place.
Now i was a little schepticle if it would work over 60mph, but low and behold had a nice 120mph cruise for a couple of hours, it stayed on and did its job.
Speed limit is 40mph where i live so dont use it at home but all you lucky sods on the mainland and USA may want to consider something similar.
I noticed that alot of CLK's and BMW's had like a large stocking that fitted over the 2 headrests and this seemed a better idea. Mother in law now has the sowing machine out for flexible windstop MKII.
