I drove mine out with a flat punch, in the car. The pin is just under 6mm. It came right out. Driving the new one in can be challenging as it is a snug fit. I taped the new one to the end of my punch and drove it in with about 75 swats. Without the tape you can't fit under the dash and hold everything without swatting your hand with the hammer. I posted the roll pin part number on the Pelican Parts site.

Another point to note is that my clutch hydro system was drained so the pedal could be moved freely. I can't remember if you could access the pin in the car without the pedal depressed. Either way in or out you would have to crack the bleeder anyway.

The entire assembly comes out rather easy except for the cramped working quarters. No need to drain or disconnect hydraulics. There are four 13mm nuts on the floor that hold the unit down. remove the brake, throttle and master cylinder connections, pick up the assembly and slide it out and past the master cylinder, leaving the cylinder hanging.
You'll probably find a nice mess of sand and debris under it that warrants cleaning.
Figure a few hours, half a day to do it at a reasonabe pace.
