When I changed my tank for a good used one , I checked out the screw in filter in the bottom of the new tank.It was bad so I flushed the tank with the old filter out and then fitted a new filter and O ring.
This tank filter can be forgotten when your looking for fuel delivery problems.

Its real simple, you start the car and then pull the fuel pump fuse (not the DME relay) and let the engine die. This empties most of the gas out of the fuel rail. Next you remove the air filter cover on the right side and the rear blower motor on the left, undo the two M6 bolts holding each rail to the intake manifold and just pull (real hard) on the injector rail. The injectors should come out still attached to the rail and then you can remove each one individually. There will be a tiny amount of fuel left in the rail so have a glass or metal cup standing ready.

Jason

How on earth did you know how to remove the injector rails? I couldn't find any reference in Adrian's book.

I pulled them last fall to clean my injectors (and everything else on the engine).
