I learned that I can replace my own caps and rotors

that I can swap my stock sport seats for 993 sport seats, if/when I'm ready

that I like PCA events, like our local Concours event

that PCA events get the wheels turning on how to spend money

That Arjan seems to have a following, and he's not sharing yet why he's selling his 964

What about you?

That I don't have enough time to drive my 964 as I always seem to be in the office!
Oh, and that there's been a fight on the 993 board!!

I've learned that tiling jobs start as an adventure and end up a pain in the ***. I can hardly wait until I finish my basement so I can get back to my Porsche! I've racked up about 35 hours tiling... I need to be tuning and bleeding (brakes) and painting (rear calipers)... and a few other things.

I just ordered stainless steel sill plates. I can hardly wait until they get here!

I learned the emergency procedures for a main drive shaft failure, compressor stalls, autorotation, and Ng Governor failure for a Bell 206 helicopter.

Oh, and that if you put the dielectric grease on your caps before you put the plug wires back on you'll be much happier than if you don't know to do it and have to pull everything apart again and start over.

I've learned that just because a manufacturer says parts sold will work together, does not necessarily mean that they will work together. Also, it is very satisfying for the manufacturer to acknowledge that you are right and the parts don't work together.

That there are a lot of people in the other forums have forgotten the basic lessons from Kindergarten - share, play nice, if you've nothing nice to say - don't say anything.
