I did exactly the same as Mark. Big hole 1" just above floor sound deadening clip. Just to right of the foot rest. Sound deadening might not be pieced. Check in trunk first for hole at that position.

Default I finally complete my project - sounds great

Thank you all for your help, especially to Mark and Southhampton.

I used the small (1/2") on the driver side existing near the clutch pedal. This came from caraudioinnovations.com. I had to do a lot of work such as modified the RCA cables (make it smaller in the heads) to get through.

Attached are some pictures, if you guys need more pictures, please let me know. I have about 50 pictures I took over all.

Regards,

Sonny

Ian,

Sorry, I don't have the measurement on the subbox. Here is the the history behind the box. I found these boxes on a swapmeet for 6x9 speakers. I knew they would fit in the rear of the 911. I bought them and cut off the rear part of it to reduce the dimmension, and then trim the corners to make them fit better. It was trial and error until I was happy with the box.

Take a look at this links for more pictures http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/dtdvo/...Eup9CBpFaZoTuv

Regards,

Sonny

15 year old thread revival.

I have a RHD car and am looking for a grommet in the front bulkhead/firewall to run a dedicated wire from the battery to a new set of USB plugs.

I know there is a grommet on the RHD driver side that feeds the bonnet/hood release cable to the frunk but my other 964 had one on the passenger side. That would be more direct to the battery. I just can’t remember where it was. Does anyone have pics of the grommet position? I’m a visual person so descriptions aren’t as instructive.
