Note that it comes with DME, harness, exhaust, clutch - good leakdown and with only 21k kms, or so claimed. (I have absolutely no connection with seller!)
Curious to know specs on this engine, displacement, output, etc. Is this a direct bolt-in for the stock 964 engine? Just musing, this snowy morning.

If it is a genuine M64/03 engine it will bolt straight in. These engines were 3.6L with 260 HP.
They used a differently mapped DME, the engine were sort of blue printed (all parts were matched)they were fitted with a single mass flywheel and lightweight competition clutch. They also had a special motronic timing ring installed on the flywheel. I would certainly ask the seller for the engine model number and serial number. I assume no gearbox attached. However if there is ask for that as well.

PS: You also want to ask how a 964 RS engine came to be in the USA and now up for sale.
The seller is Charles Coker of 356, Inc. He sold me my Super Cup back in August. He's a great guy to deal with. Very straight forward & I am very pleased with my car. Drop him a line. More power is always a good thing!

If it is a RS america Version i dont think it is any different.

I would challenge the statement that the RS touring had a DMF. However seeing as only 11 were ever built and they were to customer specs it could not be discounted.
