Default How easy is it to adjust the brake pedal?

My brake pedal is a couple of inches above my accelerator and it makes heel toe work all but impossible. I'ld like to adjust it so it's closer to the accelerator. Is it an easy task?

I may be wrong - but I didn't think you could adjust the brake pedal. You can adjust the accelerator to bring it inline with the brake pedal. The adjuster is on the back of the pedal - can raise and lower the height.

Check your idle / WOT switches work afterwards though.

If you feel round the back of the pedal, there is a locknut and an adjuster (basically a hex shaped collar on the end of the cable). Undo the lock nut and screw the adjuster in / out.

It's not very accessible - but you can always pull the pedal up. The cable is only attached to the pedal by a ball (cable) / socket (pedal) joint. When I adjusted mine I did find getting the ball back into the pedal socket was a bit of a pain though.

My accelerator pedial did not have this adjustable nut - the rod was just a solid bar.

I bought the Rennline adjustable accelerator pedal so it can be adjusted side-to-side and height very easily.

Once saw someone solve this by sticking a block of wood/plastic material to the top of the accelerator, crude but effective...

www.rennline.com (see below).

Others are available too like AJ-USA etc. Lots of choices with matching brake/clutch/dead pedals too and can be with or without "wing" to make heel-toe even easier.

I already put a Rennline pedal set on there, although I bought a street set. I may have to rethink that choice and unload the street set for some different ones.
