Do you have the broken bits? Were they clean breaks? Or, is there fear of bits getting into the bottom end?

so the solution,


i have bought a 993 engine
3,6 liter with 272 hp
en it has only done 55 000 km (less than 40 k mls)

i wonder how the car will drive after the change

How much was the engine, if you don't mind me asking? What other modifications(computer control etc...) do you need to make?

Why the new engine?
Wanted more HP?
Replacement cheaper than rebuild?

What'd you do with the old one?

i went for the new engine:


a cheap fix of this i find to expensive because the rest of the motor has done than 200 k km and than 3000 euro i find to much.

a complete rebuild is out of my budget

i dont have the time to do it my self
(6 day work week)

with the other engine the price is better
the horse power is nice
the car is ready next week
i drive the car dailly.


al thogether this was the best for me.
