1990 "All Cars in the world" reports a CD of 0,32. A common value used for front section size is 1.8 m^2 (Vehicle dynamics university courses). However I made performance calculations for my '90 C4 and I found that the value which gives best fit between calculated and real data is 2.03 m^2. Which kind of calculations are you performing ?

John:
Are you ready for my $.02?
In Paul Frere's book "Porsche 911 Story", he lists the following aerodynamic data for the 964 series:
Cd = 0.32
Frontal Area S = 1.79 m2
Cd x S = 0.57 m2
Lift: Negligible.
Hope that helps,
Jay
