Question Oil filter magnetic sleeve?

Saw a magnetic sleeve advertised that clips to the oil filter shell - actually for MG's. Increases the power of your oil filter hundreds of times!..apparently.

Seems like a good idea, though, what with all this talk of big ends going South..Although I'm sure this is something that Dr Porsche would have done if it worked, though..

..anyone used one of these?

Hi Johnny

I've used them before on motorbikes and they're very good. It's scarey when you see the little metal filings that can be 'floating' around your engine when you remove the filter! I dont know if there's a technical reason why they couldn't be used on a Porsche though???
I would have thought it was a good idea...
