Post Under dash trim

There was a thread some time ago about fitting a panel under the dash to hide all the pipes, wires etc like on the 993.

I received the FVD catalogue today and guess what? They sell just such a panel. www.fvd.de

Checked online catalogue just now. Is it suitable for a 964 (pic is of earlier 911)

Ciao

I wonder if the airbag-964 under dash panel would fit non-airbag 964s, or whether it is the same as the 993 panel.

Personally, I'd like to change mine to the later style and I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has carried out this modofication.

I believe Alex Rutz said in a post that he had fit the "airbag" or 993 dash undertray to his pre airbag car, Alex, you still out there?

Obviously means it is doable-- but the question remains how much additional work is involved. Perhaps Phil Raby would have some further insight?

Harold

That article seemed to suggest that the job was extremely difficult - my question is really about whether the late 964 dash fits more easily - it looks the same as a 993 dash but factory fitted to the airbag model 964.

Anyone got a picture of a twin airbag 964 dashboard?
