Reset the DME. Let it readaptive itself. Disconnect the battery, leave for around 30 minutes. Reconnect battery. Start and allow to idle for a couple of minutes to adapt an idle set up and then go for a spirited drive for circa 15 minutes. Drive in all gears and use the rpms in each gear. This will load lot of maps into the volatile memory. The DME learns how you drive records it and then uses this information. When you reset the DME you teach the DME again. If this does not work then we have to look elsewhere.
