Default Big Reds Repaint

Anyone ever repaint thier Big Reds. If so what kind of paint can you use and what do you do about the decal. I've got a set of Ruf Big Reds which have the clear on them starting to peel, etc. Plus I'd like to have them NOT red.

Any help here greatly apprecaited!

There was just a thread on this. Decals can be had for $10; look on ebay. Get the high temp. caliper paint at an auto parts store. Clean, sand, paint....do a search. Marc in Canada just did a great step-by-step DIY. Maybe it's in the DIY thread.

In the recent thread (linked from the p-car website DIY section IIRC), they didn't use 'Porsche' decals on the calipers.
Instead they purchased 'Porsche" stencils and painted the logo onto the caliper.
Looks MUCH nicer and should last longer IMHO.
