Ash - lol!

It was a tough decision...but it's a lovely photo and of course the 996 market is a big one...

There's a Ruf 964 feature...a 964 running reporter...and 3 964s Including an RS) round a track...we'll be giving the 964s a good share of the limelight.

I think it will be many years before we run out of cars to write about.

Rob,

I must agree with Howard - that is looking seriously good!

More than up to the mark. Congratulations on what looks to be a great result for all that work.

It's about 1.9 dollars to the pound at the moment. So an advance subscription with US postage is around $150.

Agreed, that's looking really cool.

For Rob, I wouldn't mind knowing your mindset towards all things Porsche. The reason I ask is that I bought a copy of GT Purely Porsche for the first time the other day and found myself highly dissapointed, as in no less than 2 places in their may copy, the 964 was written off as a stop gap car or bit of an 'update' from the 3.2. Not that their is anything wrong with the older 911's, I just think all the Porsche cars have their own flavour, and one of the reason which I like to buy a good mag is to learn about the other cars, not read why the 993 is better than the 964 or criticism of particular models etc etc...

Good luck
Craig

Craig - well, I'm on my 3rd 964, so I certainly don't see it as a stop-gap model. I too am always disappointed when I read about 964s, as journalists rarely call it the ultimate evolution of the classic 911 shape (my view).

The other easy route for mags is to call the 964 unreliable, which I also find terribly annoying!

Anyway, overall, we'll have a balanced view on all 911s.

Howard - yes, these are all original shots that will be in issue 1 - and there's loads more too. One of our aims is to have incredible photography, and I think we've managed it...but I'm sure you guys will tell us when we've launched...
