Question Question for BradfordD

BradfordD- saw the pictures of your amp placement under the bonnet/in luggage trunk. My question is does the amp get enough air under the carpet when you put the carpet over it? I am getting an amp put in this spring, and it looks like the there will not be room under the passenger seat like in my old '87 911. Does the amp get too hot under there? I hope not, becuase I would love to mount my amp just like you have it- clean and out of sight...

Thanks-
Andrew

Andrew,

I've had no problems with the amp over heating... There appears to be enough air movement in the bonnet area... Strapped to the fuel cell would be no different than placing the amp within the spare tire well - which is how many amps are installed.

OK- I'll see if the place I have used for car radios can do it like yours- they work on a lot of high end cars and do excellent work- I like the way the amp is hidden.

Thanks!
Andrew
