Hey, Leeds is pretty central, from a CoG point of view!! But the 964 owning population is skewed to the south!!

Actually Rob, I was going to suggest somewhere near Birmingham because it really is fairly central (well, to England if not the UK).

Any thoughts on venues around there?

OK, here's my suggestions: all of them South-East of Birmingham.

I asked a colleague who lives out that way for decent pubs where we could meet - need a good car park.
The Boot, in Lapworth (not Thursdays apparently, when it gets packed)
The Orange Tree, Chadwick End
The Crabmill, Preston Bagot
The Drum and Monkey, or the Railway, Solihull

The Drum and Monkey are not the best pubs, but they are virtually next door to the new OPC Solihull.

Of them all, I've only been to the Orange Tree which is nice and has a good car park!

Other than Birmingham pubs, I've been to the Mill and Old Swan in Minster Lovell (nr Brize Norton, Oxfordshire) which is nice too.
