the trans code on my 90 C2 is G5002L00909.

the gear chart (thanks Dr Steve) provides the following choices

G50.00-87
G50.00-88+
G50.01-87
G50.01-88+
G50.02-87
G50.02-88+
G50.50
M64.00
G50.03-05
G50.04&M64.01
M64.02
G50.10
G50.52

am is correct in assuming my code is G50.02-88+

Dear Andy,
You should have a G50/03 in your C2 not a G50/02. You must have misread the code.
The gearboxes for the standard C2s were
G50/03 All
G50/04 Switzerland
G50/05 upgraded 03 used from 1992 onwards
There are others.
The gear ratios for your 964 are found in your owners manual. I would highly advise you check your manual.

Mine has G5003- according to the little book. It's a 09/93 C2. Acc. to your notes it should have G5005? I have no idea what the manufacturing date is exactly but it may have been built much earlier than 09/93
