In the front trunk area (on the passenger side)there is a electronic box with a large multi pin connector. What does it do?

If you have a C2 its that ABS computer, if you've a C4 its the ABS/PDAS (antilock, traction control).

I think he means the 'spark box'.

I've always meant to ask someone the function of this...
