Wink Slightly OT: M3 owner impressed...

Almoast forgot to tell you about this:

On Saturday morning, I was sitting at a T-Junction waiting to turn right (still fuming abotu the off-centre steerign wheel). Looking right I saw a Mica red (well, a deep metallic red - slightly burgundy looking) brand new M3 indicating to turn into the road I was waiting to pull out of. There were other cars right behind him so I didn't pull out in case one of them couldn't see me. To my surpise the M3 owner stopped by the side of the car (partially blocking th whole junction) and shouted 'Nice car - how much?'. Needless to say I replied 'It's not for sale' and smiled and drove off.

See? Even us Guards Red guys get some fans once in a while. If only the driver had been an attractive female....maybe not actually as my girlfriend was in the car. Mind you I was thinking about shaving her head at the time....

It's nice to get that kind of reaction though!

not sure about our 'tip vs 5 -speed track now. I don't mind taking on a manual, but Guards Red adds at least 15 BHP (or so I heard in some age old factory rumour!!)

Yes, but I am very heavy. I need the 15bhp just to keep up with Toyota Camry's.....
