Castle Combe circuit

""Please help save castle combe racing circuit from closure. Recently a noise order was placed over the circuit and also the threat of closure. This is due to a couple of people living near the circuit complaining about the noise. None of the councillors live near the circuit so they wouldn';t know what it is like. Please help save Castle Combe Circuit from closure and sign this petition which will be forwarded to every member of North Wiltshire council by me. Please Sign, Thank You."

The circuit have a news item about this on their web site http://www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk/. This includes a list of district councillors (including my ex wife) and their email addresses. The circuit are trying to get the council to overturn the initial decision, which was made by officers at the request of a couple of councillors, without going through an expensive appeals process.

Done. It would be a terrible shame to loose Combe - its my nearest circuit!
I've got fond memories of warping disks and glazing pads there . . . ahhhhh my heavy old audi quattro.

I signed... I live in the US... But I don't mind the noise at all... 
Someone needs to adopt of a few of the complainers over there... Take them for a ride... Make them part of the fun! They wouldn't complain then. After a few rides... It would sound like music... Not noise. If they were approached the right way they would go for it!
