I'm thinking of getting the following brake pads. Has anyone tried them out? I do autox the car and I do not want any squeal or brake dust. My current stock pads produce too much brake dust, however they do not squeal.
Here is the info:
Porterfield Front Brake Pads, Carbon/Kevlar
These high performance street & limited competition pads are the performance choice! Very high friction level even at cold temperatures. Little or no dust or squeal. This is the fastest stopping road pad available. Great for limited competition, autocrosses, driver schools, and solo events.
Price: $81.50
Thanks,
Boris

I use the Porterfield R4S pads. They work as advertised, much better than OEM however they do squeel a little, at least when installed without the factory anti-squeak goodies attached to the back of the pads. Interesting though, I had squeel only when hot with my S4 size calipers in front, since I switched to 3.6 size calipers up front I note more noise hot and cold with the larger pads. I can't comment on the dust as I don't drive my car enough on the street nowadays, there is very little dust after about an hour of DE though.
