@ all: beautiful pics of beautiful dogs - we owned until two years ago two American Staffordshire Terrier, they were wunderful dogs! Thanks for sharing your pics.

Whippets are like the 911, in some ways: light weight, muscular, powerful rear legs. They're the fastest accelerating canine, and can corner quicker than a jackrabbit. Mine sometimes catch birds in their mouths.
