Porsche actually put out a warranty bulletin #89103 (US) about replacing the CCU for just cosmetic or switch defects. Below is a list (from the warranty bulletin)of the seperate parts that should be able to be ordered from the factory:

Slide **** Part Number 944 653 205 00
Fan Switch **** Part Number 964 659 146 00 01C
Temperature Switch **** Part Number 944 653 208 00
A/C Switch Part Number 944 653 922 00
Defroster/Recirculation Switch Part Number 944 653 921 00
Face Plate Part Number 964 659 945 00
Sensor Fan Part Number 964 659 148 00

Good info Doug! I've been wondering how to get that stuff since the little icons have fairly worn off the front of the little switches on my HVAC control unit.
