They are mostly known as aero although the cup cars did not have powered versions to save weight. Also the glass is quite expensive IIRC over $200 a side since they are heated so make sure you get good glass with them. I don't believe they made special glass for the cup cars without heat although I did source some without heat but passenger side was standard mirror.
This is the heating element under the glass.

Interesting. I found a set of 911 Aero mirrors that are manual at the Hershey swap meet years ago. Didn't think they were from a Cup car, just figured the power was common option and the base cars came with manual mirrors.

The RSA, RS and cups all came with manual mirrors the C2/C4, speedster and turbo all came with power heated mirrors.

Since you guys are chatting mirrors. The driver side on my RSA seems like the glass is coming off. It has been flopping around sometimes and I just press on it and it stops for a while. Is this just glued on? So just pull it off (the mirror), clean and reglue?

If you haven't done it before there is a little toothed piece that you can access from the hole at the bottom. I don't recall which way but rotate it one way or the other and it unlocks the mirror metal plate and all and allows you to pull on it and it will pop off. Will make adhering the glass much easier with it off. Just make sure you lock it back in place once done.

The aerodynamic mirrors come in manual and power versions. They are aerodynamic replacements for the flag rectangular mirrors and mount on a stalk which needs to be 964/993 , not 968, to get the angles right.
Although most cup cars came with aero mirrors when I think of cup mirrors I think of a completely different , very small manual mirror that is bonded to the quarter window. I think it's sometimes called an RSR mirror and based on a small vitaloni Sebring, modified in a triangular fiberglass housing to match the contours of the door frame and tuck in to minimize the profile. Very cool mirror. More of a race application.
My guess is that you are looking for the aero mirrors.

Ruf used the cup mirrors as shown above on the yellow bird but they used adhesive to bond them back then. IMO the cup mirrors are useless and don't give you the view you're looking for.
