Monty, thank you for that last post! I have had a noise from the blower due to the blades touching the housing. Not bad, tapping the housing would silence it. I was getting ready to replace the blower thinking it was the bearings going bad.

When I get the car back from the shop I will replace the fuse (as a precaution), and check the hot air socket for deformation. If the sound continues I will have no other option but to replace the blower.
