Post PCA puts the C2 in E class

Well, the inevitable has finally happened. After seeing the dominance of the C2 in PCA Club Racing, it's been pushed up a class. Now, I am going to install big reds, which would put me up a class into D. However, I'm thinking of classifying it as a RSA and going into C with big reds and a weight of 2760 vs. 3031lbs. Wow, now that'll be a jump. From F to C in one year

Here's the link for the rule changes <a href="http://pca.org/pca/clubrace/2003_rule_changes.htm" target="_blank">http://pca.org/pca/clubrace/2003_rule_changes.htm</a>

Manny,

Thanks for posting the link to the rules changes. Was wondering when they would be announced this month.

Thumbs up

Interesting, Manny. To understand the impact, I took a look at the Club Racing results from this year's race at Watkins Glen which, as you probably know, was won by a C2 (F Class). If the Rules Change had been in effect, that car would've finished 5th (E Class). So running your C2 as a lighter RSA with big brakes definitely sounds like the way to go.
