Talking 964 Cabs and Targas

I would really appreciate if any of th 964 C4 Cab and Targa owners could pop open their hoods/bonnets/trunk lids and check the 964 model number marked on the label found near the front.
Example: The C4 coupe is type 964-150. I have all the model types except the C4 Cab and C4 Targa, The Carrera Cup and the RS 3.8.
Also. Does anyone have the actual base price of the K series (1989) C4s from anywhere in the world.
Ciao,
Adrian

Hi Adrian

Read the article posted by a very helpful person recently called "wringing out the C4", shows base cost of $69,500.

Hope this helps

Dear Roy,
Thanks for that. I need to check up the C4s Coupes again. I hope they did not change them year by year.
Dear Rob,
I have the article called wringing out the C4. It was written in three parts in Excellence in 1992. The price shown is incorrect. $69500 was the price for the 1990 model year. I have this catalogue as well by the way.
Ciao,
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

I have found the following list prices for the C4 Coupe in Germany:

1989 DEM 116600
1990 DEM 122600
1991 DEM 129450
1992 DEM 135550
1993 DEM 135550

The web site where I've got the info is http://eurotax2.schwacke.com
then click on "Standard autobewertung" to search for your model.

I don't know how accurate these prices are, but I hope this will help you.

Bye now,
Giorgio.

Dear Giorgio,
Thank you very much. Greatly appreciated. The 1989 price was the one I was after,
Ciao,
Adrian.

PS: Just for info, the 1989 and 1990 prices (do not know yet about the rest) include 14% German MWST (tax).

Hi Adrian,

Just for info, the list prices above include the German tax "MwSt". Its rate is of 14% until 1992. I don't know the rate for 1993.

Bye now,
Giorgio.

Okay, typical Porsche, things have got complicated. RHD owners in UK, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore etc are now requested to respond. All and any types of 964, could you be so kind as to check the labels under the hood. I have just discovered that the RHD Anniversary has a different type number to the LHD. 964151 versus 964150. So guys I need your help to clear this up. Accuracy is very important for me,
Ciao,
Adrian
