Question RPM signal

Listers,

I might install a shiftlight on my 964 since I found the one installed in mt 968CS very useful, especially when driving with a helmet and engine sound is reduced.

Does anybody know which pin in the BOSCH hammer connection in the passengers footwell sends the RPM signal? In the 968 it was no. 16 and easy to tap on to and recaive RPM signal to the shiftlight controler.

Ciao,

Johannes E.

It's pin 14 (red pin in the picture below) on the diagnostic connector that connects to pin 6 on the DME under the seat.

Thanks Jason!

Guys,

Does anybody know if the analogue signal, is of 1274, 2548, 5096 or 10192 (pulse/km)?

Which pin it might be on the diagnostic connector? I have alrady been told that the RPM signal is pin no. 14! The reason is because I might install one of these little neat gadgets.
