Spent some time in the engine compartment over the last few days and had a few questions. Which are the two parts in the following pics? Page numbers in Adrian's book that cover these parts would be welcomed as well.
The part outlined in yellow has a black plastic **** sticking out toward the right side of the engine compartment. Is that really an adjustment ****, or am I imagining things?

The green connector(s) run to the knock sensors. If you look behind the rear blower on the other side of the engine you'll see another one. The thing circled in golden yellow is your throttle cable and the part that unscrews actually grabs onto the cable "sheath" that protects the metal cable from fraying. The metal band is just a crimp.
