Default 964 RS 3.8L burnt orange

Hello guys,

I'm searching a picture of the burnt orange 964 RS 3.8L. Adrian says in his bok that there's only one RS like that, therefore if you have a picture of that car and are allowed to share it, I would be more than happy!

Thanks in advance!

Dear Denis,
If this is for 100% private use only I can send you a couple of pictures. This RS 3.8 was a special colour order for a RS collecting Swiss customer.
He also had a 968 Turbo RS painted in the same colour. He has since sold all these RSs to the same person in Germany who happens to be a friend of mine.
The former Swiss Porsche RS (all burn't orange paint to sample) collector now has a collection of new Porsches all painted matt black and a Ferrari Enzo painted red.
Ciao,
Adrian.

Hello Adrian,

You're always there to answer, you're incredible and I appreciate your passion!

I'm not Denis, but Florent

Yes this will be for private use only, and will not publish it anywhere. I'd like to repaint my car (one day, may be next year) and I'm searching to see pictures (or real cars!) with factory colors only. In the short list of my prefered colors, there were the Maritim blue, speed yeallow, iridium yellow and burnt orange.
Now the last choice is between iridium yellow and orange burnt. But now that Denis decided to go for the iridium yellow on his car, I have to go for the orange
Good for me, I always dreamed about owning an orange car!
Therefore it's just to see how it looks like. Can't you tell your friend to come at interlaken this year?

Thanks in advance Adrian.

Dear Florent,
My apologises. I mixed up the yellow 964 Turbo pictures you posted on the 964 Turbo Forum.
I thought you were Denis, sorry about that.
I need your email address and then I have to find them (the pictures) of course.
Driving from Germany to Interlaken in the 964 RS 3.8 would be as comfortable and as much fun as using a piece of wood fill with sharp needles stuck under your backside whilst sitting in a Rolls Royce.
Ciao,
Adrian.

Yes that's true I posted some pictures of Denis' car with the new yellow paint. and he's giving me some ideas. I like my 1989 C4, and don't want to sell it. But, you know, man is like this, we need to go further, to get more. And if I don't want to let the C4 go, I clearly want something "more", may be "my" car.
That's why I've been thinking for 2 years of a turbo look. As this sort of modification requires a new paint, why not change the color? That's where I sit now. I will keep that wonderfull and still unknow 4WD transmition, and may be will go for a sort of "RS C4 Turbo look" even if I know that turn a standard 964 to a RS is almost impossible. Therefore it will be nothing except my personnal car, which will look strange or curious to some, and may be cool to others (at least me!).
When I will really start this project, I may need you help (again) to let me know what I need to change on the drive train to make that modification reliable. I already collected, with the help of your book, some informations, and went to a shop, recently, who's selling a beautiful RS 3.8L.
I don't want to go for a cheap modification, I clearly want to carry out all modifications required, otherwise I won't do anything.

A+
