Post Speedo change required on thsi car?

Hi, I'm in Canada, looking at a '92 C2 to import from the US. Can any US-based owners tell me whether or not the speedo has kph markings on it? Many thanks! Lance

The speedometers on US Market 964's have MPH in the "outer ring" and KPH in the "inner ring".

Lance, I purchased my 964 from Florida and imported it to Canada. I was fortunate to find a new speedo on Ebay in Km's with mph in small no. You don't require to change the speedo as long as it reads km's somewhere. You will require daylight running lights, written confirmation from Porsche that all recalls on the car have been dealt with, "warning stickers" re the airbags in, get this, French and English. I took the stickers off my Infiniti and stuck them on the Porsche for the inspection. If you go to a DMV office, there is a pamphlet that outlines the import requirements. Its very helpful.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
