Question Spoiler Microswitch Replacement

In addition to getting a new cabriolet top, I think I'm going to have to work on my spoiler real soon.

A months ago the spoiler became possesed and would open/close whenever it decided it wanted to. The demon that took control over the spoiler exorcised itself after a day or two. I think I soaked the microswitches while washing the car and assumed that once everything dried out it went back to normal operation.

This weekend, the demon came back. I parked the car with the spoiler in it's normal closed position and find the spoiler up again in the morning!
(spontaneous nocturnal deployment )

This time I can't blame soaked wiring for the erratic behavior - rather erratic driving. I engaged in a little enthusiastic tail-wagging driving on road with a light dusting of sand and far from the view of the local police. While sliding the car around a corner, the spoiler light came on along with the central alarm warning. Since that moment, I've had erratic behavior from the spoiler.

...so what could it be? I researched the archives and came up with recommendations to replace the spoiler microswitches. (along with a part number!)

Anyone else experience strange spoiler behavior after hard (or in my case juvenile) driving?

Anyone got a photo of the replacement part/harness? I'm somewhat familiar with the wiring under the spoiler, but couldn't point at a spot in the harness and say "there's the microswitch!".

Terry - this came up a while ago. Try this link (not sure if it works): http://forums.rennlist.com/forums/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=4;t=004119;p=1 (Topic was rear spolier: weird problem)
Problem was traced to the spolier aux unit...
