Post bad wishbone

Hi,

my car is now running out of the specialist warranty and I've had it checked at the OPC to check for stuff that needed to be fixed.

They found a bad left front wishbone and a leaky powersteering pump.

I called the specialist but they are not eager to replace the wishbone as they say it couldn't do any harm ?!

What are the symptoms if the bushing of the wishbone is bad and is it that critical? What about the MOT (APK in the Netherlands) ?

If you can hang on a while, a guy I know in the UK is planning to offer a rebushing service for wishbones. Should save people a few bob...
