Dumb Question - Bosch H1's (and H4's)
OK, I've finally had the time to fit the H1's (don't laugh - it takes me 3x as long to do these kinds of things as others here <img src="graemlins/c.gif" border="0" alt="[ouch]" /> ).
2 questions
- (really stupid question) - which are the high beams on H1's are they the lower bulb in the half moon fairing or the higher bulb behind the fairing?
- mine were really loose at the top when I fastened them with the screw at the bottom. The rims of the US H5's have an inner ridge that fits into the car body at the top of the rim - has anyone else tried to use this to fasten the tops of their H1's/H4's?
Finally - even though I haven't had my paintable trims painted yet - I couldn't be happier with the improvements in looks over the H5's and (IMHO) I actually really like the chrome look - its pretty retro. Maybe I won't rush to fit the painted trim rings ..... so many options
