Shell Optimax
Hi,
Has anyone tried Shell Optimax?
I've recently filled my C4 with 96(97?) Optimax octane unleaded for the first time and noticed a gradual improvement in smoothness and power within a few miles that I'm quite convinced is not just in my mind.
Has anyone else tried this stuff and noticed a change?

I have used Shell in the past and there is definitely a difference between Shell Optimax and regular high octane. Of course, I'm not technically minded, so this is my very subjective perspective.
However, I recently started using Mobil Synergy 8000. It really does seem to make the car more responsive to the slightest pressure underfoot.
I'd try both, and see what you think.
