Talking wiring Diagram request

Hello

I am in the process of trying to reconnect my immobilisor, i wondered if
anyone would have a wiring diagram.

Immobilisor (under pasenger seat)
Part No 928 618 260 00

I believe by the part number that it is from a 928 as Adrian noted that
immobilisors were not fitted as standard to these cars (i will try the
928 board on rennlist aswell).

I am also looking for a wiring diagram for the Dash warning light box which
sits on the left hand side of the steering column.

Part No 964 641 330 00

Any help would be appreciated as i am trying to track down the reason for
intermitent warning lights flashing (all at once)on the dash at the same
time as i reconnect the immobilisor. I have checked the radio sensor already
and no joy.

Thanks
Rob

Dear Rob,
You need somebody with the UK version wiring diagrams to attack this problem correctly.
I have never seen a diagram of the internals of the central informer. Only the inputs and outputs.

PS: I tried some months ago to help a UK based 928 owner track down the same stuff. He had a very similar problem. He was not able to get any help. All I can recommend is that you contact PCGB and find out from them, the name of the dealers who installed these systems after delivery from Porsche AG.

Makes it worse actually. As you know I have tried to help with this and the wiring diagrams I have, make no mention of an immobilser system. A 928 owner with this system installed is going to be your best form of help.
All I know is that the immobilser systemis hooked up to control the operation of the DME relay R41.
Ciao,
Adrian

I'd hope so by now... the thread is dated from 2001
